Bea Ysolda is a London-based freelance illustrator and a 2025 graduate of the Royal College of Art (MA Visual Communication). Her practice is fundamentally process-driven, embracing the spontaneity of mistakes and utilising a modular approach to build complex visual stories.
Her work shifts fluidly between sectors. Within editorial, she employs a character-focused voice to bring a personal, human narrative to the page. In publishing, her style evolves into a graphic-abstract language, often rooted in the tactile textures of collage. Whether through hand-drawn lines or assembled shapes, Bea’s work is dedicated to communicating big ideas with a playful, sophisticated edge.
